The Story

In March 2026, flooding in Córdoba left hundreds of families homeless, without food, and without medical care. Three neighborhoods in Montelibáno were completely underwater. YWAM Mobilization responded with two simultaneous missions that marked a turning point.

“María and her 4 children lived under a tin roof. In 2.5 days, we built their home.”

Homes of Hope — Sincelejo, Sucre

For the first time, the global Homes of Hope project arrived in Colombia. A single mother and her 4 children received a newly built home. 5 volunteers were mobilized through this channel (out of 25 involved in total). Construction was completed in 2.5 days.

3 Legendarios joined this mission. In addition to the house, a stove with accessories and full installation was donated for the home.

150th Health Brigade — Montelibáno, Córdoba

The medical brigade reached one of the areas hardest hit by the flooding. With 3 financial donations and resources channeled through this platform, over $2,500 USD were allocated to logistics.

Results exceeded expectations: 180 people received medical care, of which 144 received prescribed medications. 60 specific mental health cases were treated. Over 300 families and 150 children received direct attention.

In total, over 700 comprehensive interventions: prayer, counseling and psychology, haircuts, general medicine, medication and clothing donations. Donations were delivered and follow-up was provided in a highly vulnerable area on the outskirts of the city.

Evangelism and inner healing marked the mission: 32 people gave their lives to Christ and began a discipleship process with the local church in Montelibáno.
